Unwind and get creative in this hands-on basket weaving class, perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike! Led by longtime weaving instructor Bev Larson, whose love of the craft spans more than 30 years, you'll learn the essential techniques needed to create a beautiful wood-based basket from start to finish.

Begin with a wooden base of your choice and dive into the fundamentals—setting spokes, twining, and weaving. Then make it your own by choosing your colors, patterns, and even your handle style. Whether you're looking to try something new or expand your weaving skills, you'll leave class with a finished, one-of-a-kind basket and the confidence to keep weaving.

Bev Larson, a skilled weaver since 1988 and an experienced instructor since 1999, brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to every class she teaches. Having shared her craft across the U.S.—from Indiana to Texas, Florida to New Mexico—and even on Basket Weaving Cruises in the Caribbean, Bev has taught thousands of students the joys of weaving. Her dedication to the craft was recognized in 2016 when she was named an Indiana Artisan for both basket weaving and broom making. With Bev as your guide, you'll not only learn a new skill but experience the joy of weaving in a supportive, creative setting.

Come unwind, express your creativity, and leave with a beautiful handmade basket! For more information about Bev and her work, visit BeeBee’s Baskets.
