The Equipment

The SEFFA Makerspace will be evolutionary space whereby we will be adding fiber art equipment as it becomes available to us either through the purchase or donation of equipment.  The SEFAA Makerspace is available to our members during our regular business hours.  Members who are under 18 years old must be supervised by an adult.  Non-SEFAA Members can volunteer at the SEFAA center for various projects and tasks to earn time to use the Makerspace equipment.

Quilting and Sewing

The AccuQuilt Cutter and Die System is a fabric-cutting tool designed to make quilting faster, more accurate, and easier on your hands. It uses steel-rule dies to precisely cut fabric shapes—such as squares, triangles, and applique designs—by rolling the fabric and die through a manual cutter. Compared to rotary cutting, it can cut up to six layers of fabric at once with perfect consistency, saving time and reducing strain. The SEFFA Makerspace has a variety of strip cutters (1 ½”, 2”, 2 ¼”, 2 ½”, 5”, and a 6 ½) available for use .   Accuquilt User Guide - Accuquilt Video Tutorial
