The Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance (SEFAA) is bringing a fun, hands-on art experience to the community with the Chamblee Community Quilt Project in 2026. Made possible by a grant from the Chamblee Arts Commission, this project invites residents to help create a one-of-a-kind quilt that celebrates the creativity and spirit of Chamblee.
Join SEFAA at the City’s Summer Concert Series on June 12 and August 7, where a community table will be set up for participants of all ages to decorate pre-prepared fabric squares using fabric markers. No experience is needed—just stop by, get creative, and contribute your unique design. After the concerts, the squares will be assembled into a finished quilt and donated to the City of Chamblee for display in a public space. This collaborative artwork will serve as a lasting reminder of the community coming together—one square at a time.
