Please join us for Lunchtime Fiber open studios! There will be plenty of time for show and tell, sharing of ideas and tips, problem-solving, and having fun. You can hang out with us at the SEFAA Center or join us virtually, whichever suits you best. So, drop in when you can and stay as long as you’d like. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday, so register for all the monthly sessions you’d like to attend.

Constructed from inkjet prints, glass seed beads, and nylon thread, the piece incorporates collage of letterpress-printed wood veneer shapes with seed beads woven on a bead loom.

Johanna’s work combines familiar materials with unexpected forms, responding materially to her research. Bead Pod serves as a visual documentation and interpretation, revealing fragments of truth through carefully manipulated textures and intricate construction, inviting viewers to explore the intersection of craft, narrative, and material expression.
