Discover the art of rib basket weaving in this creative, hands-on workshop! Guided by master weaver Bev Larson—who brings over 30 years of experience—you’ll learn the foundational techniques needed to craft a beautiful, one-of-a-kind basket. Whether you're new to weaving or looking to expand your skills, this class is perfect for all levels.

Choose from a range of traditional rib basket styles, including the melon basket, Irish knitting basket, egg basket, or the charming hen basket. You'll learn how to insert ribs, shape your design, and add your own personal flair with a variety of color options. By the end of the session, you’ll go home with a handcrafted basket that’s both functional and full of character.

Bev Larson, a skilled weaver since 1988 and an experienced instructor since 1999, brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to every class she teaches. Having shared her craft across the U.S.—from Indiana to Texas, Florida to New Mexico—and even on Basket Weaving Cruises in the Caribbean, Bev has taught thousands of students the joys of weaving. Her dedication to the craft was recognized in 2016 when she was named an Indiana Artisan for both basket weaving and broom making. With Bev as your guide, you'll not only learn a new skill but experience the joy of weaving in a supportive, creative setting.

Come unwind, express your creativity, and leave with a beautiful handmade basket! For more information about Bev and her work, visit BeeBee’s Baskets.
