Join SEFAA for a fun and fiber-filled weekend at the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair (SAFF)! We have rented a house for members of the SEFAA community who would like to stay together during the festival. Located just 12 minutes from the SAFF fairgrounds, the house offers a comfortable home base for a weekend of classes, shopping, demonstrations, and fiber-filled fun.

If you're unfamiliar with SAFF, it's one of the premier fiber festivals in the Southeast, featuring nationally recognized instructors, hands-on workshops, fleece and fiber vendors, livestock exhibits, demonstrations, and more. Whether you're interested in spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, dyeing, felting, basketry, or simply browsing beautiful fiber, there's something for everyone. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow fiber enthusiasts, share stories from the fair, and enjoy a cozy community atmosphere after a day of classes and inspiration.

Room Options (Thursday October 23 - Sunday October 25, 2026)

• King Bedroom — $750/3 nights
• Queen Bedroom — $555/3 nights
• Twin Bed — $375/3 nights

King and Queen room guests are welcome to share their room with a friend and split the cost.

Please note that meals are not included. However, continental breakfast items and coffee will be available each morning.

Need more inspiration to visit Asheville?.   Asheville is a treasure trove of things to see and do. Visit the Biltmore House one afternoon, or take a visit to the Asheville Art District and visit Local Cloth(a local fiber art organization like SEFFA).  A trip to the Southern Highland Craft Build Folk Art Center is worth the drive. 

Space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We understand that plans sometimes change, and we will do our best to be as flexible as possible while honoring the financial commitment SEFAA makes when reserving the house.

If you need to cancel or transfer your reservation, please email us at info@fiberartsalliance.org as soon as possible.

• Cancel on or before September 19, 2026: Receive a full refund.
• Cancel between September 20 and October 9, 2026: If we are able to fill your reserved room or bed, you will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancel after October 9, 2026: Refunds cannot be issued. 

If you have someone who would like to take your place, we are happy to transfer the reservation to another guest with advance approval from SEFAA.

In the unlikely event that SEFAA must cancel the group lodging, all registered guests will receive a full refund.
