Add a new skill to your jewelry-making repertoire by learning how to create unique fabric beads. In this class, you’ll transform fabric scraps, ribbon, and yarn into one-of-a-kind beads for jewelry or mixed media pieces, exploring techniques like wrapping with yarn and wire and embellishing with simple embroidery stitches and seed beads. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a collection of handmade beads and the skills and confidence to continue experimenting with fabric bead techniques on your own.
